Sourcing & testing
We buy from a small number of qualified synthesis partners, test independently of them, and refuse the lot when the assay disagrees with the specification. This page describes that process in the order it happens.
How a lot reaches the catalogue
01 · Partner qualification
Synthesis partners are audited on facility, documentation and prior analytical history before a first order.
02 · Intake and quarantine
Incoming lots are logged, assigned an internal lot number and held. Nothing is listed for sale from quarantine.
03 · Independent assay
A sample goes to our testing laboratory — not the supplier’s own laboratory — for identity and purity.
04 · Release or reject
A lot is released only when the certificate matches the catalogue specification. Failures are returned, never combined with other material or resold.
05 · Publish and fulfil
The certificate is published to the product page, then the lot is available to order.
Testing protocol
- Identity — [IDENTITY METHOD]
- Purity — [PURITY METHOD]
- Appearance — visual, against reference
- Fill accuracy — gravimetric, [N] vials per lot
- Retention sample — held [N] months per lot
Methods are stated on every certificate so a result can be checked against the trace rather than accepted on our word.
The record so far
